Thanks To All of You! We Did It!
We won three seats on the council! The results will be officially certified on
Friday morning, and I could not be more proud of this effort, and what it will do for all of Hoboken. Thank you, everyone, for your support, faith, and commitment to making this possible. This was truly a humbling experience and I could not have done it without the hard work of my friends, family, and the team of volunteers and donors that fueled this grassroots campaign.
This election proves when we work together as a community, we can accomplish anything!
I also want to give a special thanks to my immediate family, especially my wife, Bindya, brother, Amar, my mother and father, and my daughter, Arza, for being so supportive and inspiring during this long campaign season. I would also like to thank Cynthia Posillico for all of her hard work and dedication towards this campaign, and Aneeta Rai for her volunteer efforts.
Most significantly, I would like to thank all of Hoboken's residents, who put their trust and confidence in me. I promise to do my very best to serve Hoboken and move our city forward. I will do all I can to make you as proud as you have made me, and will fight to make Hoboken an even greater city!
The election for Mayor is not over yet and Dawn Zimmer still needs all your support. Please go to www.zimmmerforchange.com to learn how you can help ensure that every legal vote is counted in this election.
Thank you again, Hoboken!
